枫叶卡就剩半年了，准备换新卡了。人在加拿大，但有事想回国一趟，因为有人说，当枫叶卡只剩半年期时，就不能作为旅行证件出入境了，请问大大，是有这么一回事吗

Most permanent resident cards (PR cards) are valid for five years. The expiry date is printed on the card. If your PR card will expire within six months, you should apply to renew your card.
