About the Winery:

winemaking. Small batch wines are crafted from established vines that offer quality fruit with% t* a9 a' s# [/ d
subtle complexities. This family-owned winery only produces about 3000 cases per year.

The role of Wine Associate will encompass a broad range of skills and responsibilities. This role
( L+ Y2 h# A8 knot only includes cellar door customer service, retail sales, special event assistance, general8 M1 q! {& W9 B# B; T
housekeeping maintenance, but also includes any other tasks including inventory assistance,2 {- G3 E( f# Y/ F8 P0 {( e
general landscaping and any other roles required to achieve the benchmark standard at Alvento1 [ i9 ]( Y# E+ l0 h, W
Winery. In addition, access to personal transport is necessary as we will be participating in many, Y' g) l7 d$ }3 V1 {, |9 K
off-site events and Farmer's Markets this summer season. At these off-site events, you will take* z- L) M+ }* o1 b. B! i9 M$ `
on the role as an ambassador to the Alvento brand, describing and promoting the qualities and

face-to-face sales.

' U( F9 _: x/ A3 o& ?employees complete and pass Smart Serve training during their first month of employment. In
4 [% k' \( e& e3 C' C) d3 \addition, it is expected that all employees will participate in an initial training program along with! r L- W. t( O" @ n+ M" P" x0 N
ongoing participation in wine tastings to increase their nose and tasting ability. All cellar door
, A' h) p3 Y6 e8 _3 u1 Aemployees responsible for serving alcohol must be 19 years of age. As well, all employees must
1 \6 n I; c" U7 t" U- w3 K: Vtake part in unloading, stacking, and restocking product (requires lifting of 40lbs), as well as

● You are passionate about wines and love to talk about them

● You have your Smart Serve Certification and are at least 19 years of age
% |$ k( j, B; Z! @ h● You have your own means of transportation to and from the winery for your shift.% A' `; p8 l% N" e5 p; j
● You are a proactive problem solver and a team player.' @& C% t* L2 X1 i
● Previous winery or customer service experience is an asset.
